Shift your life today tip #1 for turning a bad day into a good one. Have you ever had one of those days? The other day someone was talking about a string of bad events that had happened in the morning. I think she had missed the bus, and then couldn’t find a seat on the next one. Then something else happened. The person she was telling the story to said, “It’s one of those days where you should just get back in bed because everything that happens is going to be bad.” Have you ever had one of those days where things just kept going bad and then you thought to yourself, “I should have stayed in bed, it’s just going to get worse.”
What if instead of thinking it was going to get worse you took responsibility for creating a better day? We all have the power to create a better day. We also have the power to keep creating a bad day. It’s just a matter of making the choice. So the next time you are having a bad day ask yourself, “Do I want to continue to have a bad day or do I want to take responsibility for my day and create something better.” Stay tuned to learn more about how to change your from bad to good.

Shift your life today tip #3 for having a happy Thanksgiving. Holidays can be wonderful or they can be stressful. Many of us go into them expecting them to be stressful and unpleasant. Most of the time it’s because that is the way it has always been, so that is the only way we see it can go. However, we have the power to change our experiences. We cannot change the people that show up or who they are, but we can change ourselves and what we expect to have happen. If you go to Thanksgiving dinner expecting unpleasant experiences, you will attract unpleasant experiences.
So, how can it be different? Create a new picture and new expectation and this will help to create a new experience. Think about what kind of memory you want to have when the day is over. Some of you may be saying, “It’s just not possible to create a new holiday experience.” Well scientists could never find anything smaller than an atom until someone thought it’s possibly that there is something smaller. Opening up to the possibility of something better opens the space for something better. You have been going into holidays for years thinking they will be one way and that is what you have been getting. Why not open to the possibility they can be something different and see what you can create.
Now that you are open to it, create the picture of how you want it to go. Create the memory you want to have about Thanksgiving before you go to the dinner. Start with how you wake up. How do you feel when you wake up? How does your morning go? When you get to where you are going how are you greeted? If you are having dinner at your house, how are your guests greeted? Do you feel appreciated for your efforts? What is your favorite experience of the day? What does the house smell like? What sounds do you hear? Create the picture as clear as you can get it. Then write it out just the way you want it. When you finish, take a deep breath and say, “I am open to the possibility of what I am creating.”

Shift your life today tip #2 for having a happy Thanksgiving. As Thanksgiving approaches many of us tend to worry about what could go wrong or how things might not work out with our family the way we want them to. Yesterday I discussed how it is important to first acknowledge what you are fearing about the upcoming holiday. After you have taken the time to acknowledge your anxiety about what might occur at the upcoming holiday event then it’s time to decide how you would like it to go.
One way to do this is to ask your self, “What do I want to happen instead of what I am afraid of happening?” For example, if you always get in a big fight with your mom, ask your self what do I want instead of getting into a fight with my mom. If your answer is, “a day with no fighting” keep drilling down. What would a holiday with no fighting be like? For some people what they really want might be clear communication with their mom. For others they may want a holiday that is fun. Others may still want something other than the two things mentioned above. It is important to answer the questions for yourself.
When you have your answer create it in a statement about yourself. It helps to write these down. It is a different way of getting them into your brain and putting them out into the Universe. If you want clear communication, write down I am a clear communicator. Or “I communicate with clarity and love”. Another example is “I express my needs and feelings in a calm collected way”. If your intention is about communication, add another statement like “I am heard”.
If you want a holiday that is fun, your statement might be “I create a fun holiday.” Or “I create a day filled with fun memories.” Have fun with your statement. It can be difficult at first to identify what it is you want because you have been focused on what you do not want. So, take the time and play with your answers until you discover what it is you truly want to experience on Thanksgiving day. Go to your holiday dinner holding the space for your intention.

Shift your life today tip#1 for having a happy Thanksgiving. I love the holidays and Thanksgiving is one of my favorites, but I think most of have a certain level of anxiety that arises as a major holiday approaches. Most of us have wonderful experiences of holidays and many of us have some negative experiences as well.
As Thanksgiving grows closer it can create a certain level of anxiety in some of us. As you prepare to visit your families and share a holiday you might start thinking about what might happen or negative things that have happened in the past. It is important to remember that what you focus on your are going to attract into your life. So, when you worry about what might happen at Thanksgiving dinner you are actually sending that vibration out there for those experiences to find their way back to you.
If you are worried or nervous about the upcoming holiday, take a few minutes to acknowledge exactly how you are feeling. Write down everything that comes up for you. This will help to release it from your system. As you write, just allow your thoughts to flow out of you without editing you. You may discover some things you are worried about that you might not have even been conscious of. Take a few minutes to process this additional information. Sometimes we just need to acknowledge something is there in order to release it.

Shift your life today teaches the power of a process. Knowing and having a process to shift your life makes it an easier task. I know shifting and changing yourself and your life to create who and what you desire it to be can appear to be challenging. You might have thought to yourself more than once, I am going to change my thoughts, I am going to change my life. I am going to create a better me.
Arising at the decision is half the battle. Learning and training yourself to do it is the other half. There are many different ways to retrain your self to do this. You can just focus on thinking positive. However, sometimes that is easier said than done, especially when we have negative beliefs that still pop up. Also, many of us have negative unconscious beliefs that pop up even if we don’t ask them to. You can go to a coach or similar person to help you identify and shift your negative beliefs. You can find a book to guide you through a transformational process. Or you can find a process that works for you. The most important in all of these is to find a process you can use everyday that you can remember and work.
All the others are great, but to truly transform you have to take responsibility for your growth when no one else is around. On of my favorite quotes when I was a high school softball player was, “Pride is that which disciplines an athlete to do their best even when no one is watching.” The quote for changing your life goes, “Commitment to true and lasting change, is the desire and discipline to shift your life in every moment it needs to be shifted.” True shifting of your life happens when you take on the responsibility of finding a process and working it, without anyone next to you telling you to do it

Shift your life today talks about how to recognize what you are sending out to the Universe. Most people have heard of the Law of Attraction and maybe you have even seen the movie The Secret. Our thoughts and beliefs create our reality. They create a vibration that goes out and thus vibrates the things that have the same vibration and brings them to us.
Have you ever wondered why when you are agitated you walk into the bank or your favorite coffee place and it seems like the person waiting on you is someone who continues to agitate you? And you think, “Why couldn’t I have gotten the smarter or nicer or faster one next to her? ” The reason is you were putting out the vibration of agitation. Thus you sent a signal to magnetically draw those in the frequency of agitiation to be drawn to you.
The same happens with the positive side of things. Have you ever been in a fabulous mood, loving life and running errands? You go to the bank and it’s quick and smooth. You get quick polite service. Then you go to a store where you find helpful wonderful sales people just when you need them. And then you continue on to lunch where you have the most excellent waiter. You created that by being in the vibration of fabulous. You were living in fabulous so fabulous was attracted to you. Make sure to check in with what you are creating!

Shift your life today explains how deciding how you want others to see you will shift your life. Setting intentions and shift our lives isn’t just about what objects we want to attract into our lives. See it as the whole picture. Ask yourself, what is the big picture that I want my life to look like? One big question you want to ask yourself is, “How do I want others to see me?” It’s true we cannot control others or make others see us one way or another. However, by setting the intention that others see me as strong and confident, we are telling ourselves to act strong and confident. Remember an intention is a determination to act. As we ask ourselves and set the intention of how we want to be seen, our body/mind system responds by creating the person we want to be. When we set the intention we are also telling ourselves we want to be open to others seeing that great quality about us.
Often we just need to ask a different question to get to what it is we want to be, see, and create. As a Life Enhancement Coach who teaches this stuff yesterday was one of my proudest moments. One of the athletes I work with was given a very big honor by the media. As I watched the video and the commentator discuss her strengths and her potential I was instantly transported back to the session where she said she wanted others to see her as all those things. I remember when we shifted her to having others see her that way. With the proper understanding of how to do it, shift does happen.
Today, ask yourself, how do I want to be seen by others? And as always if this resonates with you and makes you go, “hum” you may want to come to my workshop and learn more.

Feeling positive about your body will shift your life today and your body too! Law of attraction; what you focus on, consciously or unconsciously, is what shows up. I am a master at shifting my thoughts in almost all areas of my life. The one I struggled with until recently was shifting my thoughts and what I said when I walked by the mirror. It had gotten to the point where I just didn’t look in the mirror, because I didn’t want to have a negative thought or conversation with myself. Better to have no conversation than a negative one.
Then Lisa Nichols, wonderful woman that she is, told me her story about finding this amazing garment that had what she calls it, “given her her sexy back”. I was amazed by the shift in her energy and the shift in my energy just from being around her. So, I tried it and low and behold, it is wonderful. Putting on the Body Magic shifts your body/mind system to a new level. We always say see it, visualize it. Well sometimes we need help doing that. And that is what the garment does for me. It helps me see it. It has helped shift and shape my body and my mind into having a new conversation when I walk by the mirror.
I am good where I am. I love myself and my life. I honored that I had become so focused on certain things (and that’s ok they were good things to focus on) that I had just lost touch with focusing on my body. And then I was struggling to change the thoughts and conversation I was having about the result of that (what I saw in the mirror). But with the Body Magic, I changed the conversation and the thoughts. And when you change the conversation and thoughts, new things show up. Because I am having a different conversation with my body, it is creating a different outcome. I believe in quick shifts, and the Body Magic by Ardyss International does that. It shifts you right into a new conversation thus right into a new outcome. Shift your life today gives you more tips on changing your thoughts. Many people will tell you if you want to change your life you just need to change your thoughts and what you focus on. For me the concept made sense, but they never tell you how to do it. They act like it’s just turning on a switch.
In a way it is like turning on a switch, but in order to get to the switch you need to walk across the room. Telling you just think positive is like telling you to turn on the switch across the room without telling you to walk across the room. Some people might think that’s obvious, but it wasn’t for me. People kept saying think positive so I just kept trying to think positive while never stopping the negative that was going on in my head.
The first step to changing your thoughts is to stop the negative ones. It might sound silly and obvious, but many of us don’t ever stop the negative recording. We just try to play the positive recording over it. You cannot hold a positive and negative thought at the same time for very long. It’s like treading water. The thought with the most emotional charge will win out. And that is usually the negative one. Stay tuned to learn methods to stop the negative thoughts. At my workshop we will learn many methods to stop the negative thoughts and practice, practice because we need to form the new habit of stopping.
Powerful intentions lead you to shift your life today. As a softball coach I always said powerful practice leads to powerful play. That is because how you practice is the way you intend to perform in the game. Life is the same way. An intention is a determination to act. When we set powerful intentions we get powerful outcomes. When we half heartedly set them we get half hearted out comes or we get things we didn’t intend to attract.
Here’s one example. About a year ago, I said I’m going to focus on lowering my monthly expenses. I am always careful about what I focus on and I thought I had done a good job. That was until I had two major increases in my monthly expenses. Then I started to examine what I had put out there. And I soon realized I thought I was focusing on a positive outcome and what I wanted, but I was actually focusing on expenses, which is exactly what I didn’t want.
How did I switch this around? I asked myself, “Why do I want to lower my monthly expenses?” The answer was to have more money to have fun with and to save more. So, I started focusing on what I wanted. I started repeating and focusing on, “I have money to do more fun things.” and “I save more money each month.”. Since then expenses are lower and savings are higher. Oh, and I also have money to do more things I consider fun.
